eSecure LABS has established a Corporate Binding Rule (CBR) Program to comply with ‘European Data Protection Law’ and ‘Global Data Protection Law’, specifically regarding transmissions of personal data between its Member Firms, Channel Partners, and Network entities. The ‘CBR’ Program comprises both a ‘CBR’ Controller Policy as well as a ‘CBR’ Processor Policy. In the ‘CBR’ Program eSecure LABS refers to the global organization of independent service providers/channel partners (ref. as ‘eSecure LABS Member Firm’) and other entities in the eSecure LABS organization (eSecure LABS Network entity) that are bound to comply with the requirements of eSecure LABS GLOBAL (“ELG”).
‘Data Protection LAW - DPL’ gives people the right to control how their personal data is used. When eSecure LABS collects and uses the personal data of its current, past and prospective partners and employees, clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and any other third parties, this action is covered and regulated by ‘DPL’. ‘DPL’ doesn’t allow personal data to be transferred to anyone (Service Provider/Channel Partners/ Members/ Promoters/Employees etc.) without ensuring an passable level of data protection.
“eSecure LABS – Forensic Services (ESLFS)” follow proper steps to ensure the safe and lawful use of personal data. The purpose of the ‘CBR’ Program, therefore, is to develop a framework to satisfy the standards contained in ‘Data Protection LAW’ and, as a result, provide an adequate level of protection for all personal data transferred from the eSecure LABS Network entities within Network entities.
eSecure LABS applies the ‘CBR’ Program globally, and in all cases where eSecure LABS processes personal data both manually and by automatic means, whether the personal data relates to organization’s current, past and prospective partners and employees, clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and any other third parties.
All eSecure LABS Member Firms are bound to comply with the ‘CBR’ Program as a result of becoming a member of eSecure LABS by way of signing a joining agreement. By signing the joining agreement eSecure LABS Member Firms are subject to conform with all common standards, methodologies and policies of eSecure LABS which are set out in the organizational regulations. The ‘CBR’ Program is part of one of the common standards specifically mentioned in the ‘ESL’ Regulations. ‘ESL’ Member Firms are responsible for making sure that their managed entities also comply with the provisions of the ‘ESL’ Regulations.
